Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions we are asked most often — about how we work, what we charge for, who owns what, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Working with Arush Soft

With a scoping conversation and, for anything beyond a straightforward staffing request, a short paid discovery — usually two weeks. Discovery produces a written findings document, a prioritised backlog and a costed delivery plan. You own that document whether or not you continue with us.

Three: staff augmentation (our people work inside your team and your process), managed delivery (we own an outcome against an agreed scope and service level), and advisory (assessment, architecture and roadmap work with no build attached).

For augmentation, a single engineer for a minimum of three months. For managed delivery, we rarely take on anything below an eight-week scope, because shorter engagements cannot absorb the discovery needed to deliver responsibly.

Yes. We have global locations and experience advising on compliance, visas and tax-related issues where a team spans several countries. Contract law and data residency are handled case by case.

Delivery and quality

Our resource replacement policy covers it. Raise the concern with the delivery manager and we replace the resource — the handover and ramp-up cost sits with us, not with you.

Detailed time sheets are maintained and sent daily so you can track real-time progress. Beyond that, a fortnightly demo of working software and a written status covering scope, risk and the decisions we need from you.

You do. Everything created for you under the engagement — code, models, documentation, infrastructure definitions — is assigned to you on payment. We retain no licence back beyond generic know-how.

Handover is a deliverable, not a courtesy. Runbooks, architecture decision records, a working local development setup and a knowledge-transfer period are part of the definition of done. If your team cannot operate it without us, we have not finished.

Data, security and compliance

Under a signed data processing agreement, with access limited to the people who need it, from managed devices, into environments you control wherever possible. For testing we prefer synthetic or masked data so realistic testing does not create a privacy problem.

Yes. We regularly work against SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR and ISO 27001 requirements. Where several frameworks apply we map controls once and reuse the evidence, because the overlap is far larger than most audit programmes admit.

Only with your written agreement, and never by default. Where a global delivery model is part of the commercial arrangement, the locations and the named team are set out in the statement of work.

Careers and hiring

Use the application form on the Careers page, or write to [email protected] with the role in the subject line. Every application receives a response, including the ones we decline.

Yes. We screen for demonstrated engineering depth, not credentials. Arush Soft LLC believes in offering equal opportunity for all — you will be given a chance to express yourself, whether you are a fresher or an experienced professional.

A screening conversation, a practical exercise relevant to the role (time-boxed and never unpaid speculative work), a technical discussion with the practice lead, and a values conversation. Usually three to four weeks end to end.
