DevOps & Automation
Delivery speed is a system property, not a team attitude. We instrument the four metrics that matter — deployment frequency, lead time for change, change failure rate and time to restore — and then remove whatever is holding them back.
Our DevOps practice builds the paved road: the pipeline, the templates and the guardrails that make the safe way to ship also the easy way to ship.
What we deliver
- CI/CD. Build, test, scan, sign and deploy — with environments promoted from a single artefact rather than rebuilt per stage.
- Infrastructure as code. Terraform or equivalent, modularised, with policy checks and drift detection in the pipeline.
- Platform engineering. Golden paths, service templates and self-service provisioning so teams stop waiting on tickets.
- Containers and orchestration. Kubernetes done proportionally — and a straight answer when you do not need it.
- Observability. Structured logs, metrics, traces and SLOs that map to user-visible behaviour.
- Release safety. Feature flags, progressive delivery, automated rollback and blameless incident review.
Proportional engineering
Not every organisation needs a service mesh. We size the platform to the number of teams and the deployment cadence you actually have, and we document the trigger points that would justify the next level of complexity.
Handover as a deliverable
Runbooks, architecture decision records and a working local development setup are part of the definition of done. If your team cannot operate it without us, we have not finished.
- 4DORA metrics instrumented
- <15 minTarget lead time to production
- IaCZero manual environment changes
